Blame Game...

A few weeks ago (or maybe more) our pastor, Craig Green, said something that really stuck in my head. As I read things on Facebook or even just think about some things/situations, I get reminded of what he said. I may not have his words exactly as they came out, but I will do my best. During his sermon on this particular Sunday Craig said, 'Don't blame the bad of this world on God...Blame Adam and Satan!' I keep getting reminded of this and I think about this fallen world we live in and how much bad goes on around us. I am so thankful that now every time I see/hear/think something negative towards a situation (or even those times we want to question God), I am reminded how that God is not to be blamed. He didn't want us to have to go through the things we do, BUT Satan is the one we need to blame! We have so much to be thankful for and should not even be dwelling on 'who's fault it is'...but sometimes we all question things here and there.
This has just been on my mind a lot lately...wasn't sure how to share it with everyone or anyone...but i know this has been on my mind for many reasons.
Don't play the blame game...just know Satan is to blame for the evil and leave it at that!

Sleepless = new blog

Just decided to make a blog because I was reading one which made me think I might like blogging. I also thought this would be a great way to let others see, well read, the ways God us working in our lives. A lot if times I want to tell more people about our many praises and blessings and ask for prayer, but I don't always see many I would like to tell and sometimes I, sadly, just don't take the time to sit down and tell some of you. So tonight I decide since Derek was at work and I lay here waiting for him to get home I thought I would create this blog! He will laugh because many of you know I recently deleted my personal Facebook account...I don't plan to use this as a substitute because I find it easy to lose track of time staying on Facebook with reading everyone's posts...but obviously here I am the one posting. I hope you enjoy this and I plan to use it to give others a small glimpse of our life and how we are blessed by the Lord! Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to post more for you soon!
